Early Days of Lure Fishing.

Thompson's Creek Dam Trout

port Hacking King

Parra river breams

Releaseing a bream. I still have the same baseball cap !! my lucky cap that have gone to NZ and Lord Howe Island.

This is the fish that's responsible for my lure fishing addiction. It's my first bream on soft plastics and boy I was hooked. Lure fishing was a new way of catching fish for me, no more smelly pilchards or buying bait from the tackle shop. It's certainly more rewarding to hunt the fish instead of just waiting for the fish to jump on your line. Above are some of the pictures from the early days of my lure fishing.

Several years later and hundreds if not thousands of dollars spend on lures. If one thing is for sure if the lure doesn't hook the fish it certainly hooks the angler.
