Getting Spooled

OK,

Got down the usual spot this morning with Rachel for a fish or 2 and she got completely slammed by something very decent. Check out the video below.



Haven't been posting much that's because I''ve been hibernating in winter. Weather is warming up,plenty of bait in the water things are looking good for the summer.

So far I've only caught 1 Salmon and a few trevallies, lost a few fish which was smart enough to swim under the wharf.

BRING IT ON !!!

I've acquired an EXIST 2508 for this summer. Extremely smooth and light reel, with a ball breaking 7KG of drag which I doubt I'll ever use the full capacity.

My Old website is still well and truly alive... just lack of some updating.
I'll keep it alive for the time being. Pictures are still there... geez they bring back good memories of the good ol'days.

Introduction

Hi All,

I thought I'll migrate my fishing website to a Blog site to make it look better and easier for me to update them....

Things have been quite good fishing wise this season (2006-2007) landed a number of kings from my favourite land based spot and a few from the boat. Things in Sydney Harbour are improving. The kings are still around in May although in a greatly reduced number... few years back they were gone by April.

The trevallies are starting to make a comeback, a mate just landed a 50cm beauty this morning.

I've been trying to sell my boat for a while now with no luck :(

As soon as I sell I'll be looking to get a new one.... have a model in mind already.
